Healthcare organizations can connect to your Hive to help coordinate your care. When connected, they can see all the records, contacts, and other information in your Hive (with the exception of hidden records). To allow Organizations to access a Hive someone from that Hive will need to accept the invitation they send you. This can be done by any User in the Hive that has the Permission settings of All Access, Co-Owner, and of course the Owner.

Accepting an Invitation via a Notification
When an Organization sends an invitation to connect, you will receive a notification that will show in your notification tray.
- Select the bell at the top right corner of your screen.
- Select the notification that mentions your invitation.
- Review the information and once you are comfortable, select Accept.
Accepting a Notification Manually
Don't see a notification? No problem. The invitation can be manually accepted by:
- Navigating to the Account page.
- Selecting Data & Access.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the Pending access tab. Select View Invitation, review the information, and once you are comfortable, select Accept.
How Long Will an Organization Have Access to My Hive?
Organizations will always provide a start date for their connection, and may also provide an end date. To find out the details of an Organizations access:
- Select your Account settings.
- Scroll to the Data & Access section.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, and select the Circle Menu Button by the Organizations name in question.
- Select Details.
Here you will see all the information available regarding that connection. If one date is visible, it is the start date and the connection is ongoing and will not be automatically disconnected. If two dates are visible, they are the start date and the disconnect date; the date it will either automatically disconnect, or has already been disconnected on.
Can I Disconnect My Hive?
Your Hive can be disconnected from an Organization, but once you have disconnected you will not be able to reconnect with that Organization until they send a new invitation. To disconnect a Hive:
- Go to the Account settings.
- Scroll to the Data & Access section.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, find the Organization connection in question, select the Circle Menu Button,
- Then select Disconnect, and confirm by selecting Disconnect again.
All available data on any previously connected Organizations, including ones you have disconnected, can be found on the Prior access tab.
